Community and Workplace CPR/AED
Overview
Our Community and Workplace CPR/AED course equips participants with essential life-saving skills needed to respond to cardiac emergencies and choking incidents. Designed for both community members and workplace settings, this course covers CPR and AED use for adults and children, with optional infant CPR training. Through hands-on practice and real-life scenarios, students will develop the confidence and competence to manage cardiac arrest situations and choking emergencies effectively until professional medical help arrives.

- Infant CPR (Optional): Gain the skills to provide CPR to infants, should you choose to include this in your training.
- Choking Management: Understand how to handle conscious and unconscious choking for adults, children, and infants.
- Cardiac Arrest Management: Recognize the signs of cardiac arrest and understand how to respond until help arrives.
- Emergency Response: Learn how to call for help using recommended guidelines.
- Heart Attack and Stroke: Identify the symptoms of heart attacks and strokes.
Duration: 2.5 – 3.5 Hours
Cost: $40 per person for Adult/Child class; $45 per person for Adult/Child/Infant class
Healthcare Provider CPR
Overview: The American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed for healthcare professionals and those seeking advanced CPR training. This course covers life support procedures for adults, children, and infants, emphasizing the integration of CPR with advanced airway management techniques and AED use. Participants will also learn to use protective devices and handle complex scenarios involving advanced airway devices.
Course Content:
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR: Comprehensive training in CPR techniques for all age groups.
- Choking Management: Techniques for managing conscious and unconscious choking in all age groups.
- Airway Management: Instruction on using protective devices such as the pocket mask and Bag Valve Mask (BVM), and performing CPR with advanced airway devices.
- AED Scenarios: Practice scenarios involving AED use.
